We’re delighted to be the chosen charity partner for the Coastal Business Network Monthly Social! 💜🦋

A reminder that there are now limited tickets remaining for the Dragonfly Ball.

We’ll be at The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle on Saturday 10 October, raising funds to support children and young people with a life-limiting cancer diagnosis and their families.

The evening includes a drinks reception, three-course meal, live entertainment and dancing, tombola and live and silent auctions.

Tickets are £70 per person | Tables of 10 are £650

MEET ADAM - ONE OF OUR RUNNERS!

Adam Henderson has taken on an incredible challenge this year - the Great North Run 2026 - and what makes his journey even more amazing is that he had never run before!

Since signing up, Adam has really pushed himself and has been working incredibly hard with his training. Every run, every mile and every step is taking him closer to that start line, and we couldn’t be prouder of the commitment he’s shown. 💪

We’re so grateful to Adam for choosing to run for Dragonfly Cancer Trust and for taking on this challenge to raise vital funds to support children and young people affected by cancer. 💜

Have you heard of the Northumberland Lottery?

It's a weekly lottery that raises money for local good causes, including Dragonfly Cancer Trust.

For every £1 ticket, 50p goes directly to our charity, helping us continue supporting children and young people with a life-limiting cancer diagnosis and their families. You'll also be entered into the weekly prize draw, with the chance to win cash prizes.

Patient Alice Boshier recently spent a week at Center Parcs Woburn Forest thanks to support arranged through Dragonfly and shared some reflections from her trip with us.

"Centre Parcs was such an amazing holiday thank you. We are so lucky."

"The cabin was in a really good spot, pretty accessible and close to activities. The staff were really nice and helpful."

"We packed so much into the week and was knackered haha, but in the best way."

"Our cabin was surrounded by nature, it was so beautiful. We had a deer family that kept coming to visit us and they had a baby! Magical."

"At one point there was a thunderstorm while we were playing crazy golf so had to stop but we were allowed to play again another day for free which was really nice of them."

"I was able to cast my hands, which is usually a child activity but once I explained why I wanted to do them, they adapted it for me and ended up gifting it to me. Amazing experience, I'm so grateful."

Thank you to the team at Centre Parcs Woburn Forest for helping make Alice's stay so special, and thank you to everyone who supports Dragonfly.

For the young people we support and those closest to them, experiences like these are far more than holidays. They are opportunities to spend precious time away, and create memories that will be held onto, shared and treasured for years to come.

We are proud and thankful to have Alex taking on the Athens Marathon in support of Dragonfly Cancer Trust.

Alex is a medical student with hopes of working in oncology in the future. Inspired by a close relative currently living with cancer, he wanted to turn that motivation into something positive by raising funds to support children and young people with cancer, and their families.

As a newly enthusiastic runner with Greek heritage, the Athens Marathon felt like the perfect challenge.

We would like to thank Barhale for taking on their 24 Hour Endurance Challenge in support of Dragonfly Cancer Trust.

On 21–22 August, the team will complete as many 3-mile laps as they can over 24 hours at Tyttenhanger Park, St Albans. Every pound raised will help Dragonfly Cancer Trust continue supporting children and young people with cancer, and their families, during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Every mile completed and every donation will help us create moments that matter and provide practical support when it's needed most.
