SPOTLIGHT ON VOLUNTEERS!

It's day 4 of at The Lighthouse Project and today we are celebrating Louise!

Louise has been involved with the project from very early on and has volunteered with Junior Youth Club every week. She has been involved in some of our community volunteering as well with events abut mainly oversees anything from sports to crafts and cooking at our Junior youth club session.

GIVE IT UP.....

A film making project with Digital Voice that our Senior Youth Club supported has been completed and the 🎥 🎬 film is going to be shown at Newcastle City Library soon!

The young people had great fun using all of the film equipment and learning about film making but also using this to send clear messages about smoking and va**ng!

We can’t wait to see the film but here is a short film of them making the film....along with the poster for the event at the library!

BALCONY BASICS!

The Sky Garden Challenge is on, and these sessions lead by Wild Intrigue look fantastic for anyone living in Byker. Watch out too for a session running soon at The Lighthouse Project, but in the meantime why not go along to Byker Sands Family Hub for a lovely session to make your balcony or patio look lovely this summer!
