Anyone can be a carer, at any time in their life. We support carers of all ages looking after a friend or family member who is ill, disabled, or has mental health problems or addiction linked to drugs or alcohol. At Newcastle Carers,
we know how hard it can be to look after someone, and we’re here to help with information, advice and support. Newcastle Carers Centre is based on Shields Road in Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne, and we provide information and advice services in the community around Newcastle for carers to get the right information and support to help them in their caring role.
