Moving to secondary school is a big step, and KEY+ Transitions is here to help make that journey a little easier. 🌟

The Soul Sisters spent time building friendships, developing confidence and learning new life skills as they settled into Year 7. By planning their own day out and taking on new challenges together, they discovered the importance of teamwork, communication and believing in themselves.

What if kindness was celebrated just as much as achievement? 🌟

That's exactly what one KEY+ group set out to do.

By creating a kindness award for their school, they wanted to make sure the pupils who go out of their way to support others receive the recognition they deserve. Along the way, they strengthened their confidence, communication and teamwork skills, while showing just how powerful young people's ideas can be.

By giving young people the opportunity to explore their interests and lead their own ideas, they're able to discover passions they may never have realised they had. Along the way, they build confidence, develop valuable skills and begin to imagine exciting possibilities for their future.

Through Stage 1 and 2 of KEY+, the group explored the benefits of spending time outdoors, before using Stage 3 to create their own mental health and wellbeing booklet.

This group used their creativity, teamwork and resilience to produce a resource that could make a lasting difference in their community.
