This 12-month pilot project focused on building the capacity of 21 co-operatives across Africa and Latin America, enabling them to increase profitability and sustainability, and better meet the needs of their producer members.

These organisations produce a variety of commodities, including coffee, cocoa, honey and hibiscus. These organisations are also being supported through finance from Shared Interest Society.

In partnership with Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Valle de Incahuasi (CACVI), this project increased the income of 58 young coffee farmers in Inkawasi, Peru.

Through the provision of training and equipment, participants produced dehydrated coffee pulp from the by-product of their coffee production, therefore reducing waste and increasing income long-term.

March 2026 marked an important milestone for our impact in Burkina Faso, as Foundation Manager, Kodzo, attended the official launch ceremonies of two projects which are establishing sustainable, income-generating soilless farming and shea butter production enterprises.

Each initiative platformed the unwavering resilience and innovation of local women, whilst adding value and opportunity to their work.

To deliver these projects, we are working in partnership with , and GAFREH.

Foundation Manager, Kodzo, visited the participating communities for the project inaugurations. Learn more about our two new projects and Kodzo's experience in our new blog.
