🌸 Preparatory Ballet at Saltdean Lido 🌸

Looking for a fun and engaging ballet class for your little one?

Our Preparatory Ballet classes for children aged 4–6 years take place every Wednesday at Saltdean Lido, where young dancers build confidence, coordination, and creativity in a warm and encouraging environment.

Through imaginative games, music, and movement, children begin learning the foundations of ballet technique while having lots of fun. Along the way, they’ll develop:
✨ Balance and coordination
✨ Musicality and rhythm
✨ Strength and flexibility
✨ Confidence and self-expression
✨ Listening skills and focus
✨ Friendships and teamwork

As their skills grow, they’ll also have the exciting opportunity to perform in our annual show—a wonderful chance to shine on stage, celebrate their achievements and create lasting memories.

For those who would like to, there is also the opportunity to work towards ballet examinations, allowing dancers to celebrate their progress and build confidence at their own pace. Participation in exams is completely optional.

Whether your child dreams of becoming a ballerina or simply loves to dance, our classes are the perfect place to begin their ballet journey. 💖

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching Acro is seeing our students grow in confidence, strength, and ability week after week.
Every skill starts somewhere. Through hard work, determination, and lots of practice, our students continue to develop and achieve things they never thought possible.
We love celebrating the big milestones, but we’re equally proud of the small improvements that happen every single class – stronger balances, straighter handstands, improved flexibility, and the confidence to keep trying.

💃✨ BIRTHDAY MOMENT IN CLASS ✨🕺
One of our little street dancers was about to start his improvisation in class when he decided he wanted his mum to join him and copy his moves… because it was her birthday 🎉😄
Of course, she joined in—and they both did an amazing job! His mum was so much fun and really got into it 💫
It turned into such a special, joyful moment in class that we all loved watching 💛
