We had an interesting and engaging start to our annual Indoor Meeting Programme last week, our guest speaker Javier Caletrio author of the Low Carbon Birding book attended and delivered a detailed talk that covered the early years of his birding and the genesis of his ideas surrounding birding and climate change along with a deep dive into some of the science behind climate change and what Low Carbon Birding means for us as individuals and actions we can all take. A lively discussion post-talk with many questions from the floor was testament to the interest generated.
