Who is God, really? Not just the answer you heard growing up, but what does the Bible actually reveal about Him?

We’re going back to the foundations of Christianity, one question at a time. 📖

Read Genesis 1:1 and John 17:3, then tell us: what’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word God?

Comment your answer and follow NEYFC for the next part.

And it’s a wrap on another ID event! 💫

What a night! Worship, Word, laughter, real conversations and young people leaning into what it means to LIVE ON PURPOSE.

To everyone who sang, spoke, listened, took notes, hugged a friend and stayed to chat around the table - thank you.

This is what youth community looks like.
ILive on Purpose isn’t just a logo, it was lived out in the room.
Until next time!

SOMETHING NEW IS HERE 🎙️
We’re excited to introduce Team Talk — a brand new podcast from North East Youth for Christ that invests in those who invest in young people.
Youth leaders, volunteers, pastors, school workers — if you give your time, energy and gifts to help young people discover Jesus and live out their God-given identity and purpose, this is FOR YOU.
Hosted by our Director Julian Clark, each episode is short, practical and designed to encourage you in your leadership and youth work.
We cover:
👉 Becoming the leader God has called you to be
👉 Leading from identity not performance
👉 Building healthy cultures
👉 Recognising potential in young people
👉 Raising young leaders
And so much more!
And this isn’t just a podcast to listen to alone. We want Team Talk to become an actual team talk.
Grab a coffee, grab a notebook, get your youth team together and ask:
What challenged you? What could you do differently? Who could you invest in?
We don’t just want to build better youth ministries, we want to raise better leaders — because better leaders help more young people discover Jesus.

WHO DOES GOD SAY I AM? — DAILY DECLARATIONS 🙌

We’ve talked about who I am, where I stand with God, my purpose, my strength, my security and my future.

Now it’s time to speak God’s truth over ourselves.

I am a child of God.
I am deeply loved and fully accepted.
I am forgiven and free.
I am chosen for a purpose.
I am more than a conqueror through Christ.
I am led by the Holy Spirit.
I am the light of the world.
I am strong because God is with me.
I am God’s masterpiece.
I belong to Jesus.
I am equipped for every good work.
I am becoming more like Christ every day.
I am secure in God’s love.
I am never alone.
I am called to live loud for Jesus. 🔥

Don’t just read these words.

Believe God’s Word.
Speak God’s Word.
Live God’s Word.

And if you’re a young person, youth leader or you’re bringing your youth…

31/08/2026

I may not know exactly what tomorrow holds.

I may not know how every prayer will be answered, how every situation will work out, or what the next chapter will look like.

But I know Who holds my future.

I am a citizen of heaven.
My name is written in heaven.
I have an eternal inheritance.
I have the hope of glory.
I am being transformed into His likeness.
And what God started in me, He will finish.

My future isn’t defined by my past.
It isn’t determined by my failures.
It isn’t dependent on what the world says about me.

My future is secure in Christ.

There is a hope beyond what I can see.
There is a purpose beyond where I am right now.
And there is a promise that one day, I will be with the Lord forever.

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 1:6

So I keep going.
I keep trusting.
I keep growing.
I keep believing.

Because God isn’t finished with me yet.

My past doesn’t have the final word.
My present doesn’t have the final word.

Jesus does. ❤️
