The Green Community in Baltic, the lovely Rbab prepared the most beautiful sweets, and Hanaa Umm Areej added her touch with an attractive decoration, along with the lovely team of Moroccan sisters. I don't know how to thank them; they were the only team that added beauty to the occasion. I love that.

We’re excited to share photos from our cultural day trips to Durham Cathedral, Beamish Museum, and Roman Fort Museum

These visits have given refugee and migrant women and their children the chance to explore the UK’s rich history and culture, while building confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging.
We’re incredibly grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting us to deliver these experiences and bring people together in meaningful ways.

We visited the Bimash Museum and it was a wonderful trip. The children moved between the rooms and ancient artifacts and we enjoyed the sunny weather on 14/4/2026

I supervised a digital skills investment workshop in Gateshead at our Integration Station office. I had a very enjoyable time there, and the supervision and management were excellent. This was on 5/3/2026

We at Diwan Organization help families, mothers and children to provide them with support through several programs: We have a family food box every week containing food supplies, and every Wednesday there is a food sharing distribution. We also conduct recreational and educational trips for women every month, and we have a weekly activity every Friday and Monday, teaching swimming in Newcastle, and we have a children's education program for Sunderland every Tuesday, as well as women's skills development programs every Thursday in Gateshead. We always try to be a real support.

We took a trip for mothers and children to Segedunum on March 23, 2026. At the Roman Museum in Wallsend, it was a wonderful day; the children were delighted, and we went to lunch at a local restaurant.
