Our project is an AI-free zone; we value artists and the environment. We would rather highlight the work of young people whose talent and perspective cannot be imitated than support AI to replace creativity. We support real experiences for real people who produce real art, with real intelligence.

Do we have any local growers of giant, toy or decorative pumpkins or squash? Our young people would love the chance to save them from the compost heap! They will be used for our Community Halloween party; details TBC

Most questions can be partly solved by more and better access to quality youth work.

The future can be bright, if you invest in kids 🤩

Quote of the day: "I am forever grateful I get to do things like this" Neive, aged 15. This was a special day sail, led for the first time by our trainee and Blue Spirit Ambassador Jannah. Thank you, and for making it possible, and The Patchwork Project. Thank you, Thomas, for coming to the rescue and helping to drive. We are also grateful for our partners; together, we make incredible things happen for local young people, and thank you to the young people brave enough to say Yes! to the adventure.

Happy Harvest Festival! Last week we celebrated the food we grew and foraged throughout the year; we displayed herbs and seeds to spark interest and made flower hair crowns and take-home posies. The young people made pies, crumble, and sweet treats. The juniors foraged rosehips and elderberries locally to create a Jazzy Juice stand with homemade drinks. The Change Makers made games, painted faces, and showed the younger ones how to split wood for kindling, needed for the pizza oven. Friends and neighbours of all ages joined us, plus quite a few new faces.
