All our best wishes to the legend Kevin Keegan on his cancer diagnosis; the whole of Newcastle is behind you.

As a youth worker in the North East over the years, 9 times out of 10, there would always be a kid named Keegan. That is how much he shaped our club and our sense of pride in being Geordies.

All the best, Kevin!

We are here for you as you have been here for us.

We send our heartfelt support and warmest wishes to Kevin Keegan and his family following his recent diagnosis of stage four cancer.

Kevin holds a unique and cherished place in the history of Newcastle United, and in the hearts of our supporters. His passion, leadership and connection to the club and city have shaped some of our most memorable moments.

Everyone at the club is behind Kevin and sends strength and best wishes to him and his family for the journey ahead.

Kevin will always be warmly welcomed at St. James' Park and we hope to see him again soon. 🖤🤍

We were complimented on the attitude of our young people throughout the activity.

It is no supprise to us, as we know that young people from Cowgate are amazing.

There are so many barriers to young people gaining employment; it is telling that so little is spent on changing their outcomes. Why?

Investing in young people is an investment in all our futures.

Young people are being failed by the very systems meant to support them - education, health and social security.

❗ In five years, 1.25 MILLION young people could be out of work or training if no action is taken.

Sky-high rents, low incomes from wages and social security, and a lack of mental health support are pushing young people to food banks - and making it even harder for them to access work or training.

But it doesn't have to be this way.

Investing in young people is an investment in our country and a future without the need for food banks. The UK government MUST act.
