Nunsmoor Centre Trust Nunsmoor Centre Trust provide a varied range of activities for the diverse community we serve. Run in conjunction with NUSU Go Volunteer.

The Nunsmoor Centre Trust is a registered charity that works in partnership with Newcastle City Council and voluntary organisations to promote, support and improve the Nunsmoor Centre. Set up in 2011, we aim to support children, families and young people through education, protecting health and relieving the effects of poverty. ACTIVITIES

Here are just some of the activities that we support. To

help provide a wide range of activities and events at the Nunsmoor Centre , we work in partnership with other organisations and agencies.

* English Conversation Classes. 1.30 pm-3 pm on Thursday and Friday. (The Friday class also has a creche provided. )

* Parent and Toddler group, with Toy Library. 9.30 am-11.30 am Thursdays during term time.

* We host various events, festivals and projects during the year. For details check this page or contact the centre Tel: 0191 2261006

* We also manage the Nunsmoor Centre Trust Access Fund to increase opportunities for disabled children and young people to access and participate in activities in the local community. VENUE HIRE

It is with great sadness that the trustees of the Nunsmoor Centre Trust have made the very difficult decision to close the Nunsmoor Centre Trust charity (not the centre itself) at the end of this term.

The trust have been unable to secure funding to manage their programme at the centre and no longer have the capacity to support activities such as Weekend Play, Parent and Toddler Group and the Toy Library.

Weekend Play will continue to run until the end of the month. The last session will be on Saturday 29th March.

We would like to thank you all for your support over the last 24 years. We will miss you all!! ❤
