Have you been to a coffee rave yet? 🪩☕️

We joined the lovely team at bright and early on Friday morning for a brisk walk, followed by bacon rolls, coffee and LOTS of dancing! 💃🕺

It was such a brilliant morning and the perfect way to start the day ☀️🧡

have been supporting our centre throughout the year and recently raised an incredible £3,217 during their Lounge Aid month. Just incredible! 🧡👏

Thank you for getting us up, moving and dancing first thing in the morning - we loved it! 🪩☕️

This week's is the wonderful William from Zumba with Will - Newcastle 🧡

You may have spotted Will in the headlines this week for all the right reasons! After collecting his GCSE results, he popped into the centre to see us and pose for a photo with our giant cheque following his incredible fundraising efforts.

Will raised an amazing £3,550 for Maggie's Newcastle through his Zumba event in July, and we couldn't be more grateful.

This is the second fundraising event Will has organised in support of Maggie's Newcastle, and it is always a pleasure to welcome both him and his mum, Belinda, to the centre.

The good news is that he's already planning his next event! Will says the 2027 event will be:

"The third and final part of the Zumbathon® trilogy, and it's going to be the biggest and best one yet!"

Friday Fundraiser Shout-Out 🌟

A huge thank you to Darren Teasdale and the staff, and customers of The Thomas Wilson Social Club, Low Fell, for hosting a fantastic Bingo Bonkaz night in support of Maggie’s Newcastle.

Thanks to everyone who attended, donated raffle prizes, and supported a night packed with laughs, music, madness, and some fantastic raffle prizes. An incredible £1,630 was raised for our centre! 🥳

Special thanks to the local businesses who kindly donated prizes and helped make the night such a success. 👏

We're truly grateful to everyone involved. Your support helps us continue to provide free cancer support to anyone in the North East with cancer and all those that love them🧡

This weeks are the brilliant team at Tyne Tunnels
We were delighted to be chosen as one of their charities at their Community Golf Day this year at Close House ⛳
It was a brilliant day with lots of fun on the course. A big thank you to all of the sponsors, attendees and team at Tyne Tunnel for making it such a great success.
An incredible £12,785 was raised on the day, split between four local charities. Well done team Tyne Tunnel 👏🧡

A big Thank You Thursday shout out to our fab supporter Karen who has raised £5,081.47 for our centre since 2024🧡

Karen popped in today to tell us all about her next fundraising event - a family fun day at Kenton Club this Saturday 8th August. If you're free between 12 noon and 3pm its a £2 entry fee and children go free. A fun afternoon is planned with a children's disco, cake decorating and activities galore. Why not pop along and join in the fun 🥳

Last Friday, over 200 walkers took on our Coastal Crawl, raising over £25,000 for our Centre.

Despite the rain, spirits were high as everyone came together to support our centre.
We were treated to brilliant live music from the talented Joe Bartley, an energetic Zumba from Zumba with Will - Newcastle and beautiful vocal harmonies from the wonderful Storiella

Take the opportunity to wander through our stunning garden, enjoy the colourful planting and soak up the peaceful surroundings while supporting our centre.

And that's not all.... we'll also have delicious ice cream available from the wonderful The Jesmond Ice Cream Company to keep you cool! 🍦

This year raised an incredible £547,672! So, if you’ve been lucky enough to get a place in next year’s two-day event, join to help us to raise double the amount of donations and run in support of even more people living with cancer and those who love them.
