This summer, children from across our community have been staying active, building confidence and making new friends in a safe and welcoming environment at NUCASTLE, thanks to the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

We asked some of our participants what their favourite activity was, and their answers say it all....💛

We were delighted to welcome The Works Story Bus to NUCASTLE this week, giving families the chance to enjoy hands-on activities, exciting experiences and plenty of opportunities to discover brilliant new books.

There was also a very special surprise for young visitors with Paddington helping to bring the magic of reading to life 🐻📚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the visit such a memorable day for children and families at NUCASTLE.

What a fantastic week at NUCASTLE 🎉

4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Year 6 pupils from the West End Schools' Trust joined us for a jam-packed programme of health and wellbeing activities, from CPR training to interactive workshops designed to build confidence, life skills and positive wellbeing.

Now in its fifth year, this brilliant partnership continues to support young people as they prepare for their next big step.

A huge well done to every pupil who took part, and good luck to all those transitioning to secondary school this summer - you've got this 🌟💙

Junior detectives on the case 🕵️

NUCASTLE hosted the final session of Newcastle United Foundation Digital Futures Academy in partnership with DXC Technology.

As part of the day, students took part in an immersive CSI challenge led by staff from West College Scotland 👮 🔎

It was a brilliant day for students to develop their critical thinking, observation and teamwork skills, with NUCASTLE providing the perfect hands-on learning environment 👏
