Wildfire emergency alert - action required
Following the government's emergency alert this evening regarding the very high risk of wildfires, no fires or activities that could cause fire should take place at any Scout activity or venue until further notice.
This includes use of disposable BBQs, firepits, garden incinerators or fireworks.
Even a small flame can rapidly develop into a major wildfire, placing lives, homes, businesses and emergency responders at risk.
This restriction applies to all Scouting activities and venues, including campsites, group premises, activity days and external venues.
