🏸 Girls Sports Day
Ages 7–14 | Sunday, 2nd August
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Female instructor throughout (except for Nerf gun, which will be with a male instructor)

🏆 WHAT A TOURNAMENT! 🏆
​The 7v7 Football World Cup is officially in the books, and what a wild ride it was! ⚽🔥

​A massive congratulations to the Syrian team for taking home the championship trophy! 🇸🇾🏆 They proved they have nerves of steel—knocking out Morocco in a fiercely contested, absolute nail-biter of a semifinal, and then putting on a masterclass to beat Nigeria in the grand final!

​But the action wasn't just on the pitch—the post-tournament barbecue was an absolute vibe! 🍗🔥 Nothing beats celebrating incredible football with great food and even better company.

This week, we wrapped up our Women’s IT class, and the progress has been amazing! Organised by The People's People and hosted by the wonderful team at Newcastle Central Mosque, our learners went from absolute basics (like mastering the mouse) to becoming pros at Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and poster design. 🌟

​Hard work pays off! Thanks to their incredible dedication and great attendance, most learners walked away with a Samsung Galaxy A16 to keep their digital journey going. 📱🙌

⚽🔫🎉 HALF TERM SPORTS DAY FUN! 🎉🔫⚽

What an incredible Half Term Sports Day hosted by Newcastle Central Mosque, delivered by The People’s People, and proudly funded by LGA Foundation! 🙌

From exciting football matches to action-packed Nerf gun battles, team games, and challenges, the day was full of energy, laughter, and great teamwork. It was amazing to see so many young people getting involved, staying active, and having fun together in a safe and positive environment.
