💻 WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SUPPORT MORE WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY! ❤️

Our women’s IT classes resumed today, and we’re delighted by the incredible response from women in our community.

Over 50 women have registered to take part in our IT classes. 🙌
However, there is one problem…

💻 We currently only have 12 laptops.
This means we simply don’t have enough equipment to give every learner the opportunity to participate fully.

So we’re making an appeal to our local community:
👉 Do you have an old or unused laptop sitting at home that you no longer need?

It doesn’t have to be perfect. Even if it has a small fault or minor issue, please get in touch. We may be able to repair it and give it a new life by using it to support one of our learners.

Your old laptop could help someone learn how to use email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, online services and other essential digital skills — skills that can improve confidence, employment opportunities and everyday life. 💻🌱

🏆 WHAT A TOURNAMENT! 🏆
​The 7v7 Football World Cup is officially in the books, and what a wild ride it was! ⚽🔥

​A massive congratulations to the Syrian team for taking home the championship trophy! 🇸🇾🏆 They proved they have nerves of steel—knocking out Morocco in a fiercely contested, absolute nail-biter of a semifinal, and then putting on a masterclass to beat Nigeria in the grand final!

​But the action wasn't just on the pitch—the post-tournament barbecue was an absolute vibe! 🍗🔥 Nothing beats celebrating incredible football with great food and even better company.

🎓 Class of 2026 Graduation! 🎓

This week, we wrapped up our Women’s IT class, and the progress has been amazing! Organised by The People's People and hosted by the wonderful team at Newcastle Central Mosque, our learners went from absolute basics (like mastering the mouse) to becoming pros at Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and poster design. 🌟

​Hard work pays off! Thanks to their incredible dedication and great attendance, most learners walked away with a Samsung Galaxy A16 to keep their digital journey going. 📱🙌
