We all love a good cuppa but did you know that very little of the money from the 100 million cups of tea drunk in the UK every day actually reaches the people who work so hard to grow and pick our tea? Fairtrade ensures fair prices and helps to support communities struggling with the effects of the climate emergency. Are you ready to switch your tea to Fairtrade? A great day yesterday as we celebrated 10 years as a Fairtrade Town with the help of our good friend Martha from Love Zimbabwe charity who helped launch our Fairtrade group all those years ago. Thank you to Newcastle Emlyn Town Council / Cyngor Tref Castell Newydd Emlyn for your wholehearted support over the years and to our a Fairtrade supporters and steering group members past, present and future!
