Our Story
Opened in 2001 a fantastic youth club going from strength to strength, now a fab Amercian Diner! We have been open for quite a few years for all the young people at Mary Hare to enjoy great events and food - It provides a safe fun atmosphere for the deaf young people at Mary Hare to create a space just for them to call their own and to relax and enjoy! It offers key life skills and a place in a working diner, as well as other opportunities within Coles Diner - it is so much more than a youth club.
In 2012 a voluntary club called Happy Days was formed for children with autism, adhd or deafness to be fully inclusive for social actitivies and their familes from West Berkshire aged 5 - 10 years and is now moved on to HD Gamers Den for the older cohort of 11 - 18 years old communities joining together! So sadly the younger group closed in 2018 but the older group is still going strong. For more details contact Kirilynn on [email protected]
Coles Diner is a non-profit making club fundraising heavily throughout the year to keep the clubs going - I hold a summer fayre, Christmas Market, Sponsored events and quiz every year along with a fun run every other year to keep the doors open for many more children to enjoy.
