Last week our NBG member presentation was by David Rollock.

David is the local representative from the WPA Healthcare Practice and WPA is the ONLY health insurer that comes with a Which? recommendation for the second year running.

David told us about his background growing up in West London, his hobbies and more detail about his business.

This morning, our member's presentation was from, Deane Anderson of Highclere Wealth.

Deane outlined a simple financial planning process and considerations for determining our desired financial situation after retirement. It was a very insightful and thought-provoking session.

Deane’s company, Highclere Wealth is a boutique financial planning and wealth management practice, focussing on advising:

• Partners of legal and accountancy firms
• Barristers
• Successful business owners.

His team of 7 in Newbury provide a service to a limited number of family clients, based primarily in the Thames Valley and Central London.

What an energising morning at NBG's visitors’ day on such a bright, sunny day! ☀️

The room was full to the brim with members and guests engaged in lively discussion.

After fuelling up with tea, coffee, and those elusive bacon rolls, we kicked things off with our one-minute pitches, giving everyone a taste of the diverse businesses and ideas represented in the room.

The feedback from our visitors was fantastic - they appreciated the warm welcome and engaging format and we look forward to hopefully seeing them back with a view to joining us as new members soon!
