💛**Make a Difference in Just Two Hours a Week!** 💛
Join us on **Saturday 4th July, 2pm–4pm**, for our Volunteer Recruitment Afternoon.

We’re looking for friendly, caring people to help with:
🚗 **Meals on Wheels deliveries** (11.30am–1.30pm) , Monday - Friday, Sunday
🍽️ **Restaurant support** (11.30am–1.30pm), Monday - Friday

If you can spare even one session a week, you can help keep vital services running for our community.

Your kindness could change someone’s day.

☀️*Important Notice from Fair Close*☀️
Due to the very hot weather, we’ve had to cancel tomorrow's performance by Mike Nova.
The centre is still open from 9.30 am, with refreshments and a lighter lunch at 12pm. We’ll be closing early at 2pm on Wednesday and Thursday, to help keep everyone safe and comfortable.
To all our members: please look after yourselves in this extreme heat and stay hydrated.

We also ask everyone in our community to look out for elderly neighbours, friends, or relatives. A quick knock on the door or a phone call can make a huge difference.
Let’s keep each other safe and supported during this hot spell.

As part of Men’s Health Week, we want to shine a light on something truly special here at Fair Close — our Men’s Shed. Since opening on 1st January 2022, the Shed has become a place where men can find purpose, friendship, and a good project to get stuck into. Whether it’s crafting something new, repairing something old, or lending a hand to the community, there’s always something meaningful happening. From supporting Riding for the Disabled to building a picnic bench for Hope Farm, our members put their skills and hearts into every project. And with sessions running Monday to Friday, there’s always room for one more pair of hands. If you’d like to join us or simply pop in for a visit, we’d love to welcome you.📧 [email protected]. 📞 01635 40488. 'sShed
