Newbury Crafty Craft

Newbury Crafty Craft Renowned, colourful, community & fundraising event:
home-made raft race, Kintbury to a charity fete in central Newbury.

Now organised by Visit Newbury (non-profit). (Founded by Newbury Round Table, circa 1974.) Crafty Craft is an annual boat race from Kintbury to Newbury in home-made craft. It is organised by the Newbury Business Improvement District team. (The event was organised and run on a volunteer basis by Newbury Round Table from 1974 to 2018, and raised thousands of pounds for local groups and charities.)
