We're delighted to announce that the Bale has been delivered and registration is now open!
If you haven't done it before here's a wee how to:
1) Register your entry at the TICC office by filling out our form. Registration is free if you can make your own scarecrow but if you want a suit to stuff and some straw we charge Β£3 to cover the costs.
2) If you've purchased a suit to stuff we suggest you dress it first! from experience we know that dressing a stuffed scarecrow is more of a challenge than stuffing a dressed one! Sometimes it's also easier to use the back of the hood for a face as you can hide the hole with hair/hats.
3) Bring your suit to the bottom of our garden on Gardens Road. The Bale of straw is located behind the shed. You can see it in the photos here and on our website. The bale is covered in a tarp to keep it dry, please remove this and replace making sure to tie it up again so it doesn't blow away.
4) Stuff your scarecrow with straw and take it home to put on the finishing touches.
5) Display your scarecrow in time for judging at 10am on Friday 19th June.
6) Come to the T.I.C.C. at 12pm on Saturday 20th June for the winner announcement and prize giving.
