Lovely to see people braving the rain to get their scarecrows out for tomorrow morning! Just typical it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow too.

Luckily the sun is due to come out on Saturday when it'll be well worth wandering about to see them all with our handy map available from 10am Friday at the TICC office. Why not pop in for some refreshments on your way round too?

We'd love you to show us your photos when you do!

Just 24 hours left to get your scarecrows ready for the Judges tomorrow at 10am!

Maps will be available from the TICC from 10am tomorrow, but make sure you pop down on Saturday from 11am-2pm as we've got face-painting, candy floss, home-baking, hot lunches, raffle and more!

We've even got a couple of pre-stuffed scarecrows if you're feeling like stuffing it yourself is too much. Just £5 each!

As a charity that serves our community, we are constantly looking to improve our services so they reflect what the residents of Newburgh want and need.

We often ask users for feedback in person, but we only reach a small proportion in this way.

A week to go and there's still time to get your entry's in! Just sign up by Monday night and get your scarecrow ready for Friday at 10am.

If you haven't done it before here's a wee how to:

1) Register your entry at the TICC office by filling out our form. Registration is free if you can make your own scarecrow but if you want a suit to stuff and some straw we charge £3 to cover the costs.

2) If you've purchased a suit to stuff we suggest you dress it first! from experience we know that dressing a stuffed scarecrow is more of a challenge than stuffing a dressed one! Sometimes it's also easier to use the back of the hood for a face as you can hide the hole with hair/hats.

3) Bring your suit to the bottom of our garden on Gardens Road. The Bale of straw is located behind the shed. You can see it in the photos here and on our website. The bale is covered in a tarp to keep it dry, please remove this and replace making sure to tie it up again so it doesn't blow away.

4) Stuff your scarecrow with straw and take it home to put on the finishing touches.

5) Display your scarecrow in time for judging at 10am on Friday 19th June.

6) Come to the T.I.C.C. at 12pm on Saturday 20th June for the winner announcement and prize giving.
