Dear Friends of St Paul's Church,
We are asking for your support. The organ in St Paul's Church is in need of renovation. It came to the church second - hand in about 1954 and it has given sterling service ever since then. It has been a vital asset to the church and has helped to set the scene for many family services, including weddings and funerals.
Despite regularly care and maintenance a serious problem has arisen with the bellows and they now need renovation at a substantial cost. The bellows are the lungs of the organ which supply the air to the pipes (just out of interest, about 600 of them).

If the bellows fail the organ will be silent. It would be extremely sad if that were the case and we are determined that it will not happen under our stewardship. This is why we are asking for your support. We know that these are difficult times for everyone in communities such as ours and we understand the strains imposed upon your domestic finances. Still, if you can and would like to help us at this time by making a donation towards the cost, we in St Paul's would be most grateful. Our paypal details are in the photo attached.
