It was wonderful to hear one of our volunteers on the radio recently discussing the various ways you can support our mission. They did a brilliant job explaining our volunteer offer and what it means to be part of the St John Ambulance family.
Whether you want to learn life saving skills or support our youth programmes, we would love to have you on board. Volunteering is a brilliant way to meet new people while making a real difference.

Nurse Tracy Capuano, who is the County Clinical Officer with St John Ambulance in Lincoln, was Dave Benson’s guest on our Drive show today.
Nurse Tracy explained how their Community First Aiders are an integral part of our community through delivering community first aid and education.
St John Ambulance provide a variety of training courses including First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal, Paediatric First Aid, Basic Sports First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.
The service is looking for Community First Aider volunteers, who can commit 80 hours per year, and who have a passion for helping others, care about their communities and want to make a difference, by sharing their first aid skills and knowledge.
Nurse Tracy explained that through volunteering as a Community First Aider, you’ll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering an essential service. She added that it’s great for you, great for your community and great for our nation, and it requires only a small commitment of your time.
