Introducing our new Chief Scout.

We’re excited to announce Dwayne Fields, adventurer and TV presenter, as the UK’s new Chief Scout. Dwayne's been appointed to lead our half a million young people and adult volunteers for his values, commitment to help young people, and outstanding leadership qualities. During his time as Chief Scout, Dwayne aims to inspire even more young people and adult volunteers to join from all backgrounds. The Scouts' Summer Camp started yesterday and it was a great first day! Set up camp. Explored the site (only Group here)...

The Scouts' Summer Camp started yesterday and it was a great first day! Set up camp. Explored the site (only Group here). Made flags related to our camp theme in Patrols ready for the Opening Ceremony (no boats on a river for ours!). Used pioneering skills for camp gadgets. Had delicious paella for dinner!
Still all quiet on the camp this morning....
