A visitor to the marsh office this morning!

This great crested newt was safely moved to a log pile outside by one of our rangers licensed to handle these amphibians, so it can continue its winter rest.

Could you be our next volunteer? We are looking for people local to Tenterden, Biddenden, Ruckinge, Lydd, New Romney, St Marys Bay, Greatstone and Littlestone to become a befriending volunteer. Befriending visits can really brighten someone's day, who may otherwise be alone all week. Contact us if you think you can help us support a lonely, older person in your local area.

We are not just here for the Caregiver but the individuals that you support...... everyone is welcome to join me for the weekly meet up at The Nest Dymchurch Road New Romney from 11am ......grab a coffee and slice of cake .....make friends,get advice or be signposted in the right direction
