⭐️⭐️Friends of the Strays of Greece – Calendar 2027 Competition⭐️⭐️ DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS MIDNIGHT TONIGHT⭐️⭐️

The Friends of the Strays of Greece calendar competition is OPEN, and Liz and Steve Grayston are raring to produce the 2027 calendar for us. So, we ask everybody who has adopted a Friends of the Strays of Greece dog or cat to enter a free photo competition so that your dog/s and cat/s have the opportunity to become one of the main twelve pictures in next year’s calendar. You can enter a maximum of 12 photographs per dog or cat, and you have from now until 10pm on SUNDAY 21 JUNE to submit your photos. 🤩
Photographs should be of the BEST POSSIBLE QUALITY, and it is important that they are NOT CROPPED nor DIGITALLY EDITED. It is also important that they are of YOUR CAT OR DOG ONLY AND DON'T INCLUDE PEOPLE. ‼️

Please LABEL all photos with your name and that of your dog/cat, and email to Liz at [email protected] by 10pm on SUNDAY 21 JUNE.

*Please note - we DO NOT send an email to confirm receipt of your photos *

After the deadline, five independent judges will then choose their 20 favourite photos. Their choices will go forward to an independent final judge who will choose his/her final 12 photos – these will become the 12 months of the year in the calendar. Finally, after the 12 months of the year have been chosen, the 72 x £5 squares that surround the 12 main photos will go on sale. This guarantees your dog or cat adopted via Friends of the Strays of Greece appears in the calendar, and it also helps towards the printing costs.

As always, we are really looking forward to seeing all your photos and would love some spring, summer, autumn, snow, Christmas and Easter entries. So, please get snapping and uploading so next year's calendar is once again FABULOUS! Many thanks. 🙏🐾💙

❗️NO ADOPTION FEE❗️

Poor Hank - he is STILL waiting for someone 🙁

Hank is so very loved in his home in Southampton - be he simply does not want to be stuck with all the cats living there. 🐈‍⬛

He is such a happy gentle giant who will definitely claim your sofa alongside your heart.

We would dearly love for someone to take him in - and obviously you can get to meet him as he is in the UK already! 🇬🇧

He is a spritely 9 years old, and a trim 40k so you won't miss him!! He loves his walks, and walks well on the lead. And adores cuddles.❤

Could you give him a chance???🙏

We have many wonderful followers and supporters - but we would like to reach more people and raise our profile further to help us get the message out there - and ultimately raise more funds.💰

When you like or comment on a post - we invite you to follow us. The reality is that many people don't see these notifications on their feeds, but if you could take the time to either find the invite - or simply like and follow our page we would be very grateful... and here's why 🤔

We are so lucky to have such wonderful supporters who give their time and energy at events across the country to raise funds for us.

In the past 6 months we have sponsored the neutering of 161 cats - this equates to approximately 400 kittens that will not born into starvation, disease and hardship.🐾🐾

Or worse - being dumped and left to die in a bin like these kittens were!!

This is why our support of TNR programmes (Trap, Neuter, Return) in Greece is vital.

Each cat neuter costs around £40

We have also sponsored the neutering of 130 dogs in that time.

Dog neutering costs from £60 (Spaying females is around£100)
