Good Afternoon Everyone,
It's Paul's wife Zena here. Once again, thank you so much for all your lovely messages and thoughts. It really is so comforting to know that he was so well thought of in his field.
I just wanted to let you know in case you hadn't seen it previously on Facebook or in the paper, that a 'Memorial Shindig' is being organised for Saturday 26th April at New Milton Memorial Hall from 2pm-5pm. Everyone is welcome to come and pay their respects and celebrate what a great and lovely man he was. There will be music, reminiscing, tea and cake (his kind of bash!).
Please spread the word to anyone who might not know.

I would like to extent my heartfelt thanks for all the messages, cards, flowers and offers of support that I have received since Paul's passing. It really has meant the world to me knowing how well thought of he was and the impact he has had on so many people, from the friends he grew up with in New Milton, the bikers he used to hang out with back in the day, the vintage scene and dancing friends of ours, through to the students and teachers he worked with every day, inspiring and nurturing the next generation of custodians of our woodlands.
There will be a 'Memorial Shindig' for everyone to come along and celebrate him on the afternoon of the 26th April at New Milton Memorial Hall (more details to follow soon).

This is Paul's wife Zena writing with the very sad news that Paul passed away on Tuesday. It was very sudden and I'm heartbroken as you can imagine.
Paul loved what he did and made a significant impact on his students, caring about the difference to the lives of the young people that was made through his work. His commitment and passion to teaching the next generation was immense, leading to him receiving the British Empire Medal which he could not have have been more proud of and myself could not have been a prouder wife.
His absence will truly leave a huge hole in peoples lives.

Woodlander Coppice would like to take this opportunity to say a massive big thank you for everyone's support throughout 2024, from the schools to individuals and agencies that has helped to shape the service Woodlander provide, to the countryside industry and to education and the support from individuals and we look forward to continue working with you all in 2025.
