As it’s National Volunteers Week, we would like to take this opportunity to say a MASSIVE thank you to the volunteers who give their time and energy to keeping our sailing club running. We won’t name you all as we have such a huge number who have supported us both now and over the long history of this club.

Llandegfedd Sailing Club is run 100% by volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has ever supported us. We couldn’t do it without you!

What a fantastic turn out for our second Top Gun race day today.

The day is made up of short sprint races. Today we managed 7 in some great winds!

The fleet of nearly 20 boats was a selection of all abilities, from some of the clubs top sailors to some of our newest racers. We had a few of our junior sailors out racing their parents. And even a coach giving one of our members their first taste of racing.

The next Top Gun race day is Sunday 26th July.

Club racing on Wednesday night saw 21 boats enjoying a beautiful evening on the water.

Positions swapped continuously during the 60 minute pursuit race, which made for an exciting evening.

We have club races running every Sunday afternoon and Wednesday evening. Come along and get involved!

It’s a busy day for Llandegfedd Sailing Club today. We have 60 people booked in for our Discover Sailing day! We can’t wait to see you all later!

Time is running out to book one of our Junior LEARN TO SAIL courses.

Our first course takes place on the weekend of 9th & 10th May.

We only run these courses in May each year to enable the sailors to get a full summer of sailing in.

We are able to keep our prices low thanks for our fantastic fully qualified volunteer instructors. Just £90 for each course (very generous sibling discounts!) plus a £25 annual membership to the club.

Don’t forget that the lake is closed to the public this weekend.

There will be no club racing on Sunday.

We're looking forward to a very busy weekend!

The GBSUP National Series rocks up at Llandegfedd Lake for a multi-discipline pursuit featuring distance and tech sprint races. It's a two day event with hundreds of competitors and their supporters expected.

With over 150 GBSUP participants across the weekend, the Activity Centre and lake will be closed to general public to ensure safety.
