Joytime, the most anticipated event of the summer, is coming to Vale Park Bandstand, and you're invited to be a part of the excitement. Event Details:

Date: Summer 2025 - 28

th July 2025 until 29th August 2025, Mon - Fri. Time: 1pm - 3pm, gates open anytime between 12.15pm and 12.30 pm, they remain open throughout. Location: Vale Park Bandstand, Magazine Lane, New Brighton,Wirral, CH45 1LX

Admission: Just £1 per person (children and adults)

Deckchair Rental: Complimentary deckchairs for adults will be available for your comfort and relaxation. What to Expect at Joytime:
Live Performances: Enjoy captivating live performances by Aaron Hayes and the Joytime Crew, engaging both children and adults alike.
- Fun for All Ages: Joytime is designed to entertain the entire family, ensuring that children, parents, and grandparents can all create lasting memories together. Remember to Bring:

KNOW YOUR JOYTIME: AN IMPORTANT UPDATE 📢

We’ve had a lot of messages lately regarding various events being held at the Vale Park Bandstand over the weekends, so we wanted to clear a few things up to make sure everyone is in the loop!

1. We are Weekday Warriors! 🗓️
Joytime only runs from Monday to Friday during set times of the year, such as the summer holidays and the May Bank Holiday. If you see an event happening on a Saturday or Sunday, please note that it is not run by the Joytime team.

2. The Joytime £1 Guarantee 🪙
We are incredibly proud to keep our entry fee at just £1 per person. Our mission is to keep our shows accessible and financially doable for every family.

💥 Top Tip: If you see an event advertised for a weekend—or one that costs more than £1 per person—you’ll know it isn't a Joytime show!

3. Not a Council Event 🚫🏛️
A common question we get asked is why we charge for entry, with many assuming we are run by the local council. Joytime is not run by the council. We receive no remuneration or funding from them. We are an independent team, and that £1 entry fee is what allows us to keep the magic alive, pay for equipment, and ensure the show can return year after year.

We love what we do, and we love our Joytime family. Thank you for supporting us and helping us keep this tradition going for everyone to enjoy! 💛✨

🌙✨ ‘Tis the night before Joytime, and all through Vale Park, not a deckchair is creaking, not even a bark.

The banner is hung by the bandstand with care, in hopes that the children soon will be there.

The speakers are silent, the stage standing still, but Aaron is dreaming of laughter and thrill.

The stage is all set for our five-day run, a week full of magic and plenty of sun!

The Crew are all ready, uniforms neat, excited to welcome some sunshine and heat.

Their dances are polished, the prizes all packed, the fun is returning, and nothing is lacked.

When out on the grass there arises a clatter, the squirrels all peek to see what is the matter!

Away to the gates the seagulls fly fast, something exciting is coming at last!

The sun on the grass gives a golden day glow, the magic of Joytime is starting to show.

With music and dancing and games full of cheer, Joytime is back — the best time of the year!

And Aaron will call, as he beams with delight: “Welcome to Joytime — we’re kicking things off right!

We’re here for five days, then we’ll see you once more, when July brings the summer back to our shore!”

Sleep tight, Joytimers! 😴 Only ONE SLEEP until Aaron and the Crew take over the bandstand for our 5-day bank holiday special! 💃☀️

WEEKEND WARM-UP! 💃🕺

It’s Saturday afternoon, and while we are busy behind the scenes getting the bandstand ready for our big return, we know there must be some serious practicing going on at home!

Since we don't run weekend events, we are resting up and getting everything ready to go. We are only 2 SLEEPS away from the start of our 5-day takeover! 🥳✨

[ ] PICNIC BLANKET 🧺 (Perfect for bagging your spot on the grass!)

The countdown is officially entering the final stretch! Get those voices ready and your dancing shoes polished, because Aaron Hayes and his incredible Crew are taking over the bandstand in just four days! 🕺🎤

We aren’t just back for a one-off—we are taking over the bandstand for 5 days of fun! From Monday to Friday next week, Vale Park is the only place to be for the best singing, dancing, and non-stop Joytime magic. ☀️🌈

YOUR JOYTIME QUESTIONS ANSWERED! 🔍✨

We’ve had a few questions popping up in our messages, so here is a handy FAQ guide to help you plan your visit to the bandstand this week!

🐾 Are dogs allowed?
Yes! We love seeing your furry friends. We just ask that they are kept on a lead at all times while at the show.

🪑 Are deckchairs free?
Yes, they are! These are for adults only, and we have a limited supply. We kindly ask that you help the Crew out by returning them to the shed at the end of the show. 🙏

🧺 Can we bring our own food?
Absolutely! We love a good picnic atmosphere. You’re more than welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy on the grass.

🚻 Are there toilets (and are they accessible)?
Yes! To find them, turn left out of the bandstand area, head up behind Vale House, and go through the car park. You'll find a lovely block of toilets there, and yes, they are fully accessible.

🎟️ Do adults have to pay?
Yes. Everyone pays £1 per person. We are committed to keeping Joytime accessible and financially doable for everyone, and this entry fee helps us keep the magic alive! 🪙

🫧 Can I buy your bubbles?
Unfortunately, no. Our bubbles are kept specially as prizes for the children! However, you are more than welcome to bring your own bubbles from home to join in the fun.

💳 Do you take card payments?
Yes! We accept both cash and card at the gate for your convenience.

Joytime is back for 5 DAYS starting Monday! 🕺☀️

We are so incredibly sorry to have to inform you all...
WE WISH IT WAS SOONER, BUT THERE ARE ONLY 6 SLEEPS LEFT UNTIL JOYTIME IS BACK! 🥳🎉✨

The stage is nearly set, the music is ready, and Aaron Hayes and the Crew are absolutely buzzing to see you all!

We aren't just back for the Bank Holiday Monday—we are taking over the bandstand for 5 days of fun all next week!

🏆 HE’S ONLY GONE AND DONE IT! 🏆

Stop everything! Our very own Aaron Hayes, host of Joytime, headed to the glitzy NODA North West District 4 Awards at the Gladstone Theatre last night and walked away with the big one—BEST DAME! 🎭👑

We all know Aaron is the king of fun and laughter at the Vale Park Bandstand every summer, but seeing his incredible talent recognised by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association is just the icing on the cake! 🍰✨

Whether he’s hosting Joytime or lighting up the stage in panto, he truly is the best in the business.

We couldn't be prouder to have an award-winning superstar leading the way for Joytime 2026! 🥳👏
