Not even a pastor having a heart attack mid-preach could stop God moving at the 'Jesus in the Park' event at Newsham Park recently.

Pastor Keith Kelly was 10 minutes into his preach when he had a heart attack but, as Jane Tompkins of organisers The Jesus Outpouring Movement said: "In addition to more prayer warriors than we could count, God provided no less than six nurses and one doctor to physically minister to him immediately.

"Three of the nurses work in the Critical Care Unit at the Royal and had not even heard of Jesus in the Park until that morning, when a friend mentioned it, so they decided to stop by on their way to work! What a blessing they and the whole medical contingent were."

After a few days in Broad Green, Keith was sent home with an ICD (a pacemaker with an internal defibrillator) and he and his wife Christine said: "We've both known the Lord carrying us."

God is good.

Hi guys, Day 2 (yesterday) 6 salvations throughout the day with the evangelists going out!

Then second night went in an interesting way, started out great with Dominion Assembly gospel choir, the joy of the Lord filled Newsham Park! Then awesome testimony of Gods mercy, compassion, provision, and healing from Tinu.

Then the preacher started His preach when he took a heart attack. He stopped breathing, however, he was exactly where he needed to be to save his life … we’ve had many medics on the team say that what happened last night was a miracle, the nurses and drs in the team and crowd, the speed of paramedics and that nearly 75% of cardiac arrests are DOA, I also felt God say that he was placed there so he could be saved!! 🙌✝️🔥

Set up day for Jesus in the Park in Newsham park, what a blessing it’s been! It’s amazing how God gifts us with different gifts but when put together in unity can accomplish great things!

Ephesians 4:16 tells us, "He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."

We are in Newsham park every evening, 6:30pm till 8:30pm, live worship, testimony, word from God.

Good afternoon brothers and sisters in Christ, Last year the 'Jesus Outpouring Movement’ team carried out a Jesus March on the Wirral in August and the 3-day Tent Mission in September. Both times we were amazed by all the Lord did and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

We warmly invite you to our next event - "Jesus in the Park" Tent Mission in Newsham Park, Liverpool (Gardner's Dr, L6 7UN).
It will run from Monday 19th - Friday 23rd May.

This mission is led by Jane Tompkins and Sophie Smith and will consist of Holy Spirit-filled worship, testimonies, an evangelistic preach and an altar call. There will be a range of preachers throughout the week, some of whom God has used mightily over the years and produced great fruit for the Kingdom of God. We will also have teams of evangelists going out each afternoon to share the Gospel and invite people to the tent!
