Would also like to thank all those that participated in the ‘Tit 4 Tat’ couples quiz held at The Compass Inn, Winsor on 13th Feb. It was a fantastic evening and nobody left with a black eye, just a few damaged egos. At the end of the night we were presented with £165 raised from team entries and donations on the evening. Big love to you all 😘

Hi all, I just wanted to share an update with you all on the monies raised from our ‘Di**le and his Trusty Deere Save Christmas’ parade. We have recently received a further £83 in donations courtesy of Caroline and Abbie Orchard and the Le Mieux team onboard the Nativity trailer. This, together with donations on the night, an amazing donation from Le Mieux and all the wonderful donations via Go Fund Me, have now bought our total up to an amazing £1173.09. Thank you all so much. Roll on next years parade, hopefully even bigger and better xx

WOW!! Where do I start? What a Parade - we smashed it! 🚜🎅🧝🎁🦃🐷 I am in total awe of each and every one of you that has been there for me and helped make this a huge success. The list of thank you’s is endless…..
Vic and Ash my dearest friends and our amazing hosts at the Compass Inn, you have a special place in my heart and I love you both so much for everything you have done and continue to do for me.
Chris, James, Lou and my team of Marshall’s and First Aiders - you absolutely pulled it out of the bag and made sure everything ran stress free, you are all amazing!
My elves, who ran their feet off yet again. I don’t know how you do it, but there was just no stopping you!
My beautiful daughter and boyfriend Luke, my Christmas gifts. I couldn’t do it without you. You are my world🌍.
Our runaway turkey and pig in blanket. You really are something else and so funny to watch. My belly ached watching you both strut your stuff walking down that road.
Christmas dinner, it’s safe to say dinner was absolutely freezing by the time we got home. But every single one of you sat on an open trailer and braved the elements to give everyone a show. I am so grateful to you all! Kerri, you really are a great sport for being our stuffing 😂😂
And of course, my Nutrcracker, Gingerbread Man, Olaf, Grinch, Christmas Angel, Christmas Star, Christmas Tree, my bottles of beer and all my little snowflakes - you were absolutely amazing!
Special thanks also to Matt, Harry, Reg, Ash and Flops for towing our trailers. Mark Francis, Archie, The Vincent family, Gary and Sam for lending us trailers and the haywain for our characters. Vic, Laura and Beth for all you help in preparation for the day and again to Laura for helping with the big clear up afterwards. The Le Mieux team for entering the nativity trailer and of course our fantastic parade of tractor drivers with their Christmas decorated tractors - none of this would happen without you. We really do appreciate your help in making this a truly spectacular event!

Finally, who could forget our very own Father Christmas, Di**le! You went above and beyond anything I could have asked for jumping on and off the trailer to greet the little ones and giving them fist bumps. You made a lot of kids evening and it was so touching sat beside you watching their little faces light up seeing you.

This year we handed out over 900 mini candy canes and almost 300 balloons along with other treats from our participators and we still ran out!

I appreciate we didn’t manage to reach everybody in advertising the parade, even though the Lymington Times helped to promote the event and it was advertised on the Totton page, Copythorne Cadnam page, our very own Charity page and all the local schools. Bearing in mind this is only our second year running, we had a spectacular turn out of spectators. I would like to thank all of you that stood out in the cold to wait for us. We truly hope you enjoyed the parade. Our live google map location link was incredibly helpful this year for those wishing to see the parade.

Now for the big announcement - WE RAISED A WHOPPING £980.09 🎉

That’s a huge amount of money and considering it is so close to Christmas which is so expensive, we can’t thank you all enough for your very generous donations to our fundraising efforts and keeping George’s memory alive. This parade is about spreading a little Christmas Magic to the children of our community and I think I can definitely say we achieved that.

Wishing you all A Very Merry Christmas & A Healthy, Happy 2026!

FABULOUS UPDATE FOR YOU ALL - WE HAVE NOW REACHED A TOTAL OF £1,090.09!! 😘😘

A short while ago we posted that we were working with a family after being contacted by a young lady to ask if we could help with getting her father back home. Caitlin had sent a beautiful message in which she advised her father had very sadly suffered a brain injury over a year ago but had been unable to return home because their bathroom was unsuitable for his needs. They also needed to make alterations within the home to make it accessible and the costs were building up. Caitlin advised that the whole bathroom had to be removed and re-designed, and a walk-in seated shower was needed. We were also made aware that handrails were needed to assist with mobility in the stairwell and garden.
We are now incredibly proud to announce that due to your continued support we have been able to assist with getting Caitlin’s father back home to his family and are incredibly honoured to have provided Caitlin’s father with a lovely new walk-in seated shower and handrails to the stairwell and outside area.
We would like to send our very best wishes to Caitlin and family x

We are truly honoured to have again been invited to attend this years Netley Marsh Steam & Craft Show Presentation Evening. Last night we received yet another amazing donation of £1,500. We would like to sincerely thank Danny Dovey, all the Directors, and members of the Committee for selecting us as one of your chosen charities to receive such a wonderful gift. I would also like to send personal thanks to Simon Meader, I honestly cannot thank you enough for nominating us again this year. Knowing there are so many other local worthwhile charities it means everything to me that you believe in us and support what we are trying to achieve. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We were recently contacted by a young lady in the hope we could help in getting her father back home after a lengthy stay in hospital due to a brain injury. We are now working with the family to see how we can best be of assistance as we are aware the whole bathroom needs to be completely adapted before this gentleman can return home. We look forward to updating you further once completed. We wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your continued support.

Thank you all so much x
