1st Ness Scout Group is a newly created group following the amalgamation of two long standing groups; 1st Willaston and 1st Burton. 1st Burton Scouts met for many years in the village of Burton before moving to a purpose built Scout Centre in the village of Ness. In 2020, 1st Willaston Scouts also moved to the Scout Centre in Ness when unable to secure a new lease on the land in Willaston. In 2025

both groups merged to create 1st Ness Scouts, securing the provision of Scouting in the local area for the future. 1st Ness Scout Group are proud to provide access to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and will soon launch a Squirrel Drey.

It’s been another busy half term for the Grenfell pack. We’ve achieved lots of Activity badges and worked towards a number of Challenge badges. Plus we had lots of fun along the way.
