WATEX CHAMPIONS

This weekend, 4 Cadets from 2375 Sqn competed against 14 other Squadrons from Merseyside Wing Air Cadets in the annual Wing Adventure Training Exercise.

Competing in Kayaking, Climbing, Mountain Biking and a Navigation exercise over two days, the Cadets pushed themselves and each other to win the competition!

2375 has a strong history in wining the WATEX competition and the success is not just down to the Cadets efforts, but the efforts of our staff team, who are highly qualified in Adventure Training (AT), enabling them to support the Cadets.

Well done team 2375!

Hard work ➡️ Success

A massive shoutout to Sgt Mitchell, who has just completed her Staff Drill Instructor Course! 🌟

Two full weekends of intense assessment — and weeks of tireless preparation beforehand — have officially paid off.

This is a notoriously difficult course to pass and we couldn’t be prouder!

Congratulations Sgt Mitchell!

Congratulations to CWO Sprake for being awarded a Lord Lieutenants Certificate of Meritorious Service at the Ceremony hosted by The Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire Lady Redmond MBE at Chester Cathedral.

CWO Sprake was nominated for their outstanding dedication to the Squadron, consistent commitment to the organisation and its values, their willingness to represent the squadron at every level, continuing to build a strong NCO team and their impressive ability to help others. What is more inspiring is the fact CWO Sprake has been able to achieve this, all with personal challenges and never complains.

Flt Lt Vernon, Officer Commanding 2375 Sqn said " We are all incredibly proud of what CWO Sprake has achieved in their Cadet career so far, and the Lord Lieutenants Certificate of Meritorious Service is incredibly well deserved. I look forward to seeing them continue to achieve greatness"

This is an outstanding achievement and we are incredibly proud of CWO Sprake's achievement.
