Yesterday, our Medical Students visited Family Hubs in Nelson to see the wonderful support on offer in the community!
It was a great opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the communities they'll be supporting once they graduate, thank you to the team for having us along!

🎾 Another great session at Burnley Tennis CLUB! 🎾

This past Friday, we had another brilliant session over at Burnley Tennis Club, with even more of our young people getting the opportunity to take part in tennis coaching.

It’s fantastic to see our young people getting involved, trying something new, building their confidence and most importantly, enjoying being active! 🙌

That’s exactly what we’re all about. Creating positive opportunities for young people to get active, have fun, learn new skills and make great memories along the way. 💪🎾

A big thank you to everyone helping make these sessions possible. We’re looking forward to seeing even more young people getting involved! 👏

💷 Thank you to NatWest! 💷

A big thank you to Will and Gregg from NatWest for coming in last week to deliver a fantastic Financial Foundations workshop to our young people who were taking part in their Movement To Work placement with the Department for Work and Pensions - DWP.

The session was informative, practical and really well received, with our young people engaging positively and getting involved throughout. It was a great opportunity for them to build their financial knowledge and develop valuable skills that will support them in their future.

We really appreciate Will and Gregg taking the time to share their knowledge and experience with our young people. Thank you for helping us provide opportunities that make a real difference! 👏

🏉 What a fantastic day out at the Rugby Super League Final! 🏉

We had such a great time with our young people this past Saturday and we’re incredibly grateful to StreetGames for the generous gift of free tickets. 🙌

We started the day by exploring the lovely Salford Quays, enjoying the sights and spending quality time together. We then treated our young people to some delicious food before making our way over to Old Trafford to enjoy the excitement of the game! 🏟️

It was brilliant to see everyone having fun, making memories and enjoying such a special experience together. 💙

It’s been a busy couple of days for us over at The Muni Theatre!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the Pendle Community Resilience Conference, followed by the Explore & Engage Event for Year 11 students today.

A huge thank you to Pendle Council for inviting us to both events and for giving us the opportunity to connect with others across the community and most importantly, with young people.

We’re really passionate about supporting young people in our community, helping them feel heard, supported and empowered to make positive choices for their future. 💙

It’s been fantastic to meet so many inspiring people and organisations over the past two days and we look forward to continuing to work together to make a positive difference in Pendle.

We had a fantastic time at Burnley College's Freshers' Fair yesterday! 🎉

It was great meeting so many young people, chatting about what we do and getting everyone involved with our soft archery activity. There were some brilliant shots! 🏹

We were also delighted to give away free shower gels to young people, kindly donated by The Hygiene Bank Burnley, helping us share a few essential items with students.

A huge thank you to Burnley College for having us – we loved being part of such a great day and look forward to seeing you all again! 💙

Looking for a way to get out, clear your head and meet new people?

Join us for our Wellbeing Walk every Wednesday from 1–2pm. 🌿

It's completely free and open to young people aged 16–24 living in the Pendle area.

Last week we enjoyed a walk through Victoria Park, and each week we explore different lovely local spots together. No pressure, just a relaxed walk, good company and some fresh air.

We were delighted to support the Department for Work and Pensions - DWP in hosting the Lancashire Adult Learning Event alongside the National Careers Service and Community Links.

It was fantastic to see young people accessing information, advice and guidance on the many pathways into courses, training and future opportunities.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the event and helped make it such a success. Together, we're helping young people take positive steps towards their future.

It was great to be at the Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form Freshers' Fair, last week, chatting to students about the support we offer and the opportunities to get involved.

We brought along our soft archery as a taster activity and it was brilliant to see so many young people giving it a go. We were really impressed with everyone who got involved!
