*THE LODGE WILL NOT BE DEMOLISHED*

Once again we have been inundated with messages regarding the change of use planning application for the lodge. This is on the back of a misleading image of a CGI mosque included on a post in Colne Talk.

The post stipulated the Lodge was to be demolished and a mosque built in it's stead. This is UNTRUE & false information in relation to the planning application.

There is no suggestion WHATSOEVER the lodge is to be demolished in the planning application.

We have received numerous messages regarding a planning application filed with PBC.

Firstly, this page was set up four years ago to save the lodge from demolition. That objective has been achieved. This isn't a page for objecting to various planning applications. It never was or will be.

If you're against the recent planning application then it's suggested you form an action group and lobby your local councillors. This method was successful in saving the lodge from demolition.

This page will not be participating in any objections to future planning regarding the Lodge. Unless, in the unlikely event, PBC should renege the decision to not demolish the lodge.
