I'd just like to thank NPT council tax office for giving me a choice of either emptying the property we jointly owned and paying 2953.20 council tax into the bargain ! (200%) Or having to move out of the flat I'm in (which is also a problem) TEN DAYS AFTER MY PARTNER OF 30 YEARS DIED!
I HAVNT EVEN BURIED HIM YET
I've spent the last two years nursing him thro cancer, (which btw saved the council a fortune! ) despite my own ill health!
You have even charged me for the day he died! Could you have not given ONE DAYS grace even for the day he died!! Which btw was the day before my birthday!
You truly are horrendous! And obviously have zero compassion! I'm barely holding it together as it is,, we havnt even sorted his funeral yet fgs! And I'm not full owner of the property yet! Havnt even started on that!
I truly hope that when someone u love dies someone does this to you too! Could you not have let me grieve for a month before u landed this on me!
I've now got to think how the hell I'm going to get a flat full of furniture over to the house with NO TRANSPORT when I'm on benefits, a house with no hot water even bcus the boilers broken, and live there with no hot water ! Whilst grieving an unexpected death (thought we had another 6 months at least) because u couldn't even give me a few weeks to get over his death and decide what to do!
UNBELIEVABLE NPT COUNCIL!!!
