π΄ SPECIAL OLYMPICS BOCCIA IS COMING TO NEATH PORT TALBOT! π΄
π Just over a week to go!
Weβre excited to be launching our new Special Olympics Boccia sessions in Neath Port Talbot, delivered in partnership with BFL Community Reds and Port Talbot Pirates Cricket Club.
Alongside our Monday evening cricket sessions, this exciting new opportunity will open the door to more people with learning disabilities, their siblings, parents and carers to come together, get active, make friends and enjoy the benefits of sport in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
β½ More than just weekly sports sessions!
As we establish our new Special Olympics group, members will have opportunities to represent their communities and take part in local, regional and national competitions and tournaments.
They will also be invited to participate in our growing Community Reds Inclusion Leagues, featuring:
π΄ Boccia
π΄ Short Mat Bowls
π΄ New Age Kurling
These leagues will bring together our community groups and partners through the Community Reds Outreach Programme, creating opportunities for participation, friendship, teamwork and healthy competition.
π
Wednesday evenings β plenty of opportunities to get involved!
Our programme will initially offer:
π― Boccia
π³ New Age Kurling
π Short Mat Bowls
And thatβs just the beginning! Further activities, including Touch Rugby and Football, will be introduced shortly.
All of this forms part of our commitment to Create, Enable, Empower Change, breaking down barriers and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate, develop new skills and reach their potential.

π£ WANT TO BE PART OF THE COMMUNITY REDS TEAM?
As our programme continues to grow, weβre looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us and support our activities and community initiatives.
Whether you want to meet new people, have fun, learn new skills, share your passion for sport or make a positive difference in your community, weβd love to hear from you!
No previous experience is necessary, and all necessary training will be provided. You could become part of a team that is helping to create opportunities, build confidence and change lives through sport and volunteering.
Together, we can continue to build an inclusive community where everyone belongs and everyone has the chance to shine.
