Yesterday we welcomed back our favourite orator Debra John. She enthralled us with her tales of witchcraft and tales from long ago. Thank you so much Debra for ‘bewitching’ us all 🥰

Today we celebrated our amazing, selfless, dedicated volunteers for Volunteers week.
We all thoroughly enjoyed a lovely meal together.

Each week these volunteers provide a safe and welcoming group with refreshments and activities that promote acceptance and recovery for stroke survivors and their loved ones.

We can’t imagine our lives without this bunch of gorgeous humans.

Thank you for all you do.

Our volunteers aren’t paid because they are worthless…

they aren’t paid because they are priceless ❤️

💜 Volunteers' Week 💜

Our volunteers don't just give their time – they bring energy, creativity and plenty of fun to everything we do!

These fantastic photos are from our VE Day celebration, where our volunteers went above and beyond, dressing up in 1940s outfits, helping organise activities, handing out ration tokens, serving refreshments and creating a memorable day for everyone who attended.

From making typical 1940's sandwiches and cakes in exchange for ration tokens and decorating the hall to welcoming members and helping the event run smoothly, their hard work made the day a huge success. Seeing so many smiles and people enjoying themselves is exactly what our volunteers make possible throughout the year.

As we celebrate Volunteers' Week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who helps make Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group such a welcoming and supportive community.

We are proud that their dedication has been recognised with The King's Award for Voluntary Service – a truly well-deserved honour.

Please join us in thanking our amazing volunteers for everything they do. 💜
