Storytelling Jesus, You invite us to make your story, our story. Your story reminds us God so loves the whole world. Teach us, Jesus, your arts of storytelling, singing and dancing that open up paths of healing and renewal. Help us, Jesus, to lean into and learn from your story; to make it our own, so justice, loving kindness and mercy may join hands around the world that God so loves. Amen.

Reference to mental health awareness week

Like a good friend who really hears and gets you, God is always ready to listen. Nothing is too small or too trivial to share with God. We may not feel it, but even in the unimaginably dark places, God is with us.

New male voice choir... why not give it a go? ...

What a fantastic start for Côr Dynion Bryncoch! 🎶

Tonight saw the successful launch of the choir — and the best part? Every single member from the original project came back… plus a few new faces too! 👏

The atmosphere, energy and sound in the room tonight proved that this is only the beginning. A modern male choir rooted in tradition, friendship, Welsh culture and plenty of hwyl.

We’re also excited to launch our brand new page, where we’ll be sharing updates, rehearsal clips, performances and future events:

If you’ve always wanted to sing in a male voice choir but thought:

What can we do to be part of the million?

News reports and social media feeds can often make it feel like the UK is more divided than ever. The voices of those who spread hate and seek to divide communities can seem loud, but they ignore the millions of actions which spread hope and kindness every day, and show what is possible when we come together to make positive change happen.

From 13–20 May, A Million Acts of Hope will bring together all these everyday acts of hope and shine a light on the people and communities making them happen. It’s a national initiative being led by community and faith groups, and charities big and small.

What song shall I sing today? What prayer shall I pray today?

Abide with me, O Love Divine.

Thank you, God, for music and song in our hearts and lives.

I pray to you every new morning, anticipating what might lie ahead.

I pray to you in the afternoon, thinking of family and friends.

I pray to you in the evening, repeating “Thank you, God” for life in all its richness, remembering all who cannot sing or pray because of pain and sorrow in their lives.
