🎆 Whitland Fireworks Update 🎆
We wanted to share an update about this year’s event.
After a lot of thought and hopeful planning, Whitland Fireworks will not be taking place this year. Once again, we’ve struggled to secure the sponsorship needed to make the event viable, and with fireworks costing a minimum of £6,000, we didn’t feel it was right to raise entry fees to cover the shortfall.
Since our last display in 2023, we’ve proudly donated almost £5,000 to local groups, charities, and fundraisers — all thanks to your amazing support. ❤️
A huge thank you to all the sponsors and local businesses who have backed us over the years. Your support has made every display possible and helped us give back to the community.
Our team is made up entirely of unpaid volunteers, and every penny raised is used responsibly — most goes straight back into local causes, with a small amount kept to help us continue supporting future community projects.
This year, we’re pleased to be supporting and helping our friends at the Templeton Community Fireworks Display, and we’d really encourage everyone to go along and enjoy what promises to be a fantastic evening. 🎇
We’d love to see Whitland Fireworks return in the future, though it may take on a new format. Thank you for your understanding and continued support for local events in Whitland.
