💫Celebrating the extraordinary musical talents of West Wales in this Welsh-language concert, we welcome everyone to join us in marking the start of the festive season in Pembrokeshire.

We are delighted to be joined by bass-baritone vocalist Caleb Nicholas. Caleb is a singer and doctor based in Cardiff but originally from Efailwen, Pembrokeshire. A rising talent on the Welsh music scene, Caleb won the prestigious Osborne Roberts Blue Riband Scholarship at the 2025 National Eisteddfod after taking first place in the under-25 bass-baritone competition. He returned for a very successful 2026 National Eisteddfod, where he was delighted to win the David Ellis Award on his home turf.

Mae'n dalent ddisglair ar sîn gerddorol Cymru, wedi ennill Gwobr Fawreddog Ysgoloriaeth Osborne Roberts y Rhuban Glas yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol 2025 ar ôl cipio'r lle cyntaf yn y gystadleuaeth bas-bariton dan 25. Dychwelodd i lwyddiant mawr yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol 2026, lle’r oedd wrth ei fodd i ennill Gwobr David Ellis ar ei filltir sgwâr.

📸Thank you to Hattie Morrison for a very beautiful field notes workshop as the first part of one of our new Love Stories to Nature Commissions - We, The Body.

We spent a bright, blustery afternoon on the banks of the Llys-y-fran Reservoir learning how to speak to the water through ancient folklore, writing, drawing and gathering. After several hours, we had collected a beautiful library of Water that will be taken forward into the exhibition in the new year and feed into new responses from Hattie, Leiah and Angharad.

The second movement and filming workshop is sold out, but save the date for the We, The Body exhibition on the 13th of January.

Treulion ni brynhawn disglair, gwyntog ar lannau Cronfa Ddŵr Llys-y-fran gan ddysgu sut i siarad â'r dŵr trwy lên gwerin hynafol, ysgrifennu, arlunio a chasglu. Ar ôl sawl awr, roeddem wedi casglu lyfrgell hardd o Ddŵr a gaiff ei gario ymlaen i'r arddangosfa yn y flwyddyn newydd a’i bwydo i ymatebion newydd gan Hattie, Leiah ac Angharad.

Mae'r ail weithdy symud a ffilmio wedi gwerthu allan, ond nodwch y dyddiad ar gyfer arddangosfa Ni, Y Corff ar 13 Ionawr.

📅The community workshop will be held between 10:30 am-3:30 pm in The Albany Hall on the 17th of October.

120 drums. 120 people. One shared rhythm.
Al-Ta'rija Wales is bringing the ancient Moroccan ta'rija drum to communities across Wales.

Led by Moroccan singer Ayoub Boukhalfa, the project brings together 120 participants across Wrexham, Narberth and Newtown to discover the ta'rija through the traditional way of learning - by listening, playing and sharing.

Rooted in Chaabi and Gnawa traditions, the ta'rija is a drum made to be played together. Its true sound comes alive through community, connection and shared rhythm.

And at the end of the workshops, every participant takes home their own drum.
120 instruments. 120 pairs of hands. One rhythm spreading across Wales.

Next session – 22nd October | 7-9pm | SPAN Arts, Narberth

No auditions, no pressure - just singing for the joy of it.

Join vocal practitioner Fran Main for folk songs, Welsh songs, simple rounds and uplifting songs from the Natural Voice tradition.
Everyone welcome, whether you sing regularly or just fancy dropping in.
