Rally Day 2026
So as it turns out ‘last is a blast’ again! 😜
It was always going to be a hard one for the club this year at rally but everyone pulled together and gave it everything - we had so many younger members taking part in things for the first time, and while that could have been overwhelming they faced their fears and got stuck in!
Our emphasis has always been it’s the taking part, celebrating personal achievements and reaching private goals! The fact that you do it representing our club is an added bonus and the fact that you want to is always an honour for Martletwy YFC!
You really are the best kids, be proud of what you achieve! 🥰
We had a fun day, some great results - Robert Ayers winning his sheep stock judging trophy, the men’s TOW winning for the first time in decades, the flower girls with a 1st and two 2nds, main ring display coming 2nd!!🎉
We donated the Sally Allen cup for the most promising junior member in stock judging, won by a Fishguard member - llongyfarchiadau🥳🌻
Well done to all the clubs and members who took part, to all the winners and good luck for all RWS competitors! 💪🏻🥰
Also, special mention to the leaders who made the rally dance bus but then got lifts home half an hour later as they felt too old to be there!!🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🤣
Of course. we couldn’t do any of this without the continued support from trainers, parents and friends of Martletwy- thank you all so much we are always so grateful x😘

Pre-rally fun and games! It’s been a busy few weeks for Martletwy members, leaders, parents and supporters! ☺️
Stock judgers have got some great results, the sign made it up in the nick of time, the ‘Let us entertain you’ team definitely entertained and the TOW teams were all brilliant at the prelims!The senior boys making it through to rally day💙, the senior girls looking smart in their new kit 🌻🥰and actively celebrating NOT getting through to rally day 🤦🏼‍♀️😜, and the juniors (most who’d never pulled before) did themselves and their club super proud!! A team for the future! 💪🏻
Thank you to all of our trainers and parents as always, and a huge well done to all of our members who’ve made practices between GCSE, A Levels, sports and jobs! 🥰
Well done to all of the clubs pre-rally and good luck to everyone on rally day!!
Huge thanks to County team too for making all of this happen 👏

Huge thank you to all at Hackett Farm for hosting! Great venue and so lovely to have it on home turf!!💙
All our members excelled in their comps today, loads having a go for the first time, we couldn’t be more proud of you all!
Junior Fencing boys 2nd (first time for them all in this competition!)
Senior Fencing boys 3rd (first time for them all in this competition too!)

Congratulations to all other clubs taking part and a huge thank you as always to our trainers and parents who’ve ferried members about over the last few weeks for practices. We couldn’t do this without you 🥰

Easter Egg hunt tonight!! 🐣 🏃🏽 Chairman Lewys and the senior boys were in charge of Egg buying (took it v seriously too😜!!) and Ass Sec Bronwen was in charge of laying the trail!
Great night had by all, huge thank you to Cresselly Cricket Club for providing the perfect place for the hunt and a game of rugby afterwards!!! 🥰

It’s been a busy time again for some of our members over the last week…

We started the week 10 pin bowling!! Lots of fun had by all 🎳

Thursday we travelled to CFfI Llys-y-frân YFC who kindly hosted the County indoor sports competition. They gave us a very warm welcome, and a fabulous spread of food!😋 Thank you! We won, onto the next round ☺️

Member Dan Cole represented Pembrokeshire YFC in the Wales YFC English public speaking day today! It was his first time and we are so proud of him. Helping Pembrokeshire gain 4th place overall in the competition…👏 📕
Also to Member Owain Jenkins who took part in the public speaking day as part of the Mace Debating team..coming 4th - congratulations 🎉

Member Ella Mathias completed her half marathon today in Gloucester, 👏💪🏻running for the Sandy Bear Children’s Bereavement Charity. A charity close to all of our hearts after the support they have offered our members and wider YFC community since we lost Sal.🌻❤️

Well done everyone - as ever, you’ve done yourselves and your club proud 💙

It’s been a busy few weeks for Martletwy YFC since the talent show!!💙🌻
County indoor games competition against, and kindly hosted by Brawdy Hayscastle - we came away victorious 🥳 Thank you to them for hosting a great night 🥰
County quiz competition against, and kindly hosted by Keyston YFC - we came away second place!!!!😉 Thank you to them, well done and best of luck going forward!
Good luck to all clubs in County taking part in both competitions..
Plenty of practicing for the County Field Day coming up in April and of course lots of planning for our 3rd charity tractor pull!! 💪🏻
