At Stroud Court, our community is growing and we will soon be welcoming new people into our care teams.

Set within 17 acres of woodland and open green space, Stroud Court offers a calm, supportive environment where those in direct care roles can build meaningful relationships and focus on what truly matters. The setting allows staff to work at a considered pace, supporting individuals in spaces that encourage independence, wellbeing, and connection.

In the coming weeks, we will be opening a number of new direct care and support roles, offering opportunities for people who are passionate about making a difference in a community-focused setting. These roles will suit individuals who value teamwork, compassion, and working in an environment where people — residents and staff alike — are genuinely supported.

Happy New Year from Stroud Court Community Trust!

We’re excited to begin 2026 with a major milestone in our digital transformation journey—the rollout of the Nourish Care System across all our houses.

Following a successful trial at West Bank, we are now implementing this innovative system site-wide. This marks a significant step forward in partnership with Nourish Care and reflects our commitment to enhancing care through technology. We’re confident this transition will be a success, thanks to the dedication and positive attitude of our incredible care teams.

Creating Spaces That Feel Like Home

We’re committed to providing safe, comfortable, and positive environments for the people we support. Right now, our maintenance team is hard at work renovating Suba Lodge to make it a truly homely space.

The new kitchen units are in and looking fantastic, and decorating is well underway. We can’t wait to share the finished result with you soon!

A few recent upgrades have been made to our car parks including tarmacking and fresh white lining.

Responding to feedback from our staff, we have altered the layout and removed 2 spaces, improving the access in and out of the car park as well as access to spaces along the hedgerow. We have also added a motorbike and bike corner (with security measures to be fitted).

6 new extra wide bays have been created for our cars to improve the safety for the people we support and ensure easy access in and out of the vehicles.

Finally, 3 new spaces have been identified at the start of our driveway to ensure easy access to the salt bin in colder months ❄️

Making constant improvements to the site is essential in maintaining the health and safety of people that we support, our staff and third parties.

New road surface looks great and now provides a smooth and safe surface which is an improvement to the previous pot holes!

New car park is in full use and we look forward to surfacing that in the future too ☺️
