Trendlewood Community Festival Nailsea Community festival of music, food and family fun with something for all ages held on the Golden Valle

The Trendlewood Community Festival will take place on Saturday 26th August 2023 at Golden Valley Playing Fields. It will be a free afternoon of activities for children of all ages, family entertainment, music and food. The event will be donating any surplus income to the Nailsea Community Group, so please come along with your family and friends. More information found at trendlewoodcommunityfestiv

Volunteer Treasurer Wanted - Trendlewood Community Festival 2027

We’re looking for a Treasurer to join our friendly volunteer committee as we plan ahead for the 2027 Trendlewood Community Festival.

This is a key role helping keep the festival on track and thriving. Responsibilities include:
• Financial planning & budgeting
• Financial administration
• Fundraising & income support (including identifying and applying for grants)
• Attending planning and committee meetings

Impact of the role:
By keeping the festival’s finances running smoothly, the treasurer helps ensure the event remains free, inclusive and sustainable for the whole community. It’s a meaningful way to contribute to something that brings neighbours together and strengthens local connections.

No previous festival experience needed — just enthusiasm, organisation and a head for numbers. There will be a full handover and support from the existing Treasurer.

Join Our Festival Committee – Trendlewood Community Festival 2027

We’re looking for enthusiastic, community-minded volunteers to join our committee and help shape the Trendlewood Community Festival 2027.
Whether you’re great at organising, enjoy planning events, love working with people, or simply want to give something back locally, we’d love to hear from you.

Committee members help with ideas, planning, coordination and bringing the festival to life.

Why get involved?
Being part of the committee is a rewarding way to support a much-loved local event, meet new people and help deliver a festival that is free, inclusive and welcoming for everyone.

No previous festival experience is needed — just a positive attitude, a bit of time, a desire to support your community and be part of an amazing team.

Well, what can we say? An absolutely huge thank you from us all here at TCF to everyone who visited us today and to all those who contributed in any way, be that through volunteering, musicians, event support, lending us kit and more.
We are all truly amazed with how many of you came to see us today. We will be on site for the next few days packing the festival away until 2027 and will post a full roundup at some point next week. Until then, thank you again!

The Festival site is coming together! Beer tent (the most important?!), tea tent, village stage, crepes tent, gaming zone tent, tuck shop tent and kids zone tents are all up. Tables and benches from The Farmhouse are also here.
Tomorrow will see the Stage assembled along with all the electrics and generators being connected and tested. Lots more running around tomorrow with the van and trailers collecting lots more kit which we are generously being loaned from a multitude of individuals, businesses and organisations.
We still have a few spaces left on our vehicle display so if you own any vehicle which is unusual, rare or just interesting to look at then we would love to have it along, just drop us a message for info!
We all look forward to welcoming you to our festival on Saturday from 11:30 🙂
