Another wonderful repair cafe!

Great conversation and cake had by all!

Thanks to all the volunteers that make this possible, the wonderful kitchen team, the brilliant bakers, the glorious front of house reception, the very dexterous electronics repairers, the superhuman seamstresses, the razor sharp sharpening maestro and the energy saving superman.

🔧 Mytholmroyd Repair Cafe is back this Sunday!

Come and join us on Sunday 15th March at the Mytholmroyd Repair Cafe; bring along that broken item you've been meaning to fix! Be it the hole in your coat, that lamp that doesn't work anymore or the tech issue you cant seem to fix no matter what you try..... our volunteers will do their best to get it working again.

don't bin it, bring it!

Additionally, there will be a Home Energy Information table where visitors can discuss their current house efficiency and next steps towards retrofitting improvements and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

It's free to attend, repairs are offered on a donation basis, and there's always a brew on and some cake. 🍵

🔧 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Mytholmroyd Repair Cafe! 🔧

Are you handy with repairs? Love fixing things? Want to help your community while saving items from landfill?

We're looking for volunteers to join our friendly repair cafe team!
Especially needed:
⚡ Electricians - small appliances, lamps, gadgets
🧵 Sewers/tailors - clothing repairs, alterations, mending
🔨 DIY enthusiasts - general repairs, bikes, household items
💻 Tech-savvy people - computers, phones, small electronics

Don't have repair skills? No problem! We welcome people who are keen to learn alongside our experienced volunteers - it's a great way to pick up new skills while helping others.

What's involved:
📅 Just once every 2 months (3rd Sunday)
⏰ 1pm-4pm at St Michael's Church Hall, Mytholmroyd
☕ Friendly atmosphere with tea, coffee & amazing homemade cakes

🌍 Making a real difference!
Whether you're recently retired with time to spare, or just someone who loves the satisfaction of fixing things, we'd love to hear from you.

Its the Repair Repair Cafe Mytholmroyd on Sunday 16th 1pm to 3.30 (last entry) at St Michael's in Mytholmroyd.
Bring your repairs, bikes, knives to sharpen, clothes and bags to mend and electrical and mechanical items and furniture. Our tech team will be here to help you with your phone and computer issues.
Our sewers are in need of old plastic zips so if you have one on an old item of clothing or a bag you don't want, then please donate them to Heptonstall or Mytholmroyd Repair cafes. Thank you
