Lots of nests appearing in the fields now - this one a lapwing’s. Let’s hope for a decent few weeks of weather and limited predation to give them the best chance to fledge successfully.

🔥Controlled muirburn provides a variety of habitats for red listed species.

🪺There are curlew nesting on this patch from earlier in the season.

💡 Did you know, both male and female curlew incubate the eggs, in shifts of 2-3 hours.
