Priory Hall

Priory Hall A community hall in the heart of the historic town of Much Wenlock A Community venue in the heart of the historic Shropshire town of Much Wenlock.

This former school has been lovingly renovated throughout the years by hard working volunteers. All repairs, renovations and maintenance have been funded through charity events and fund raising activities which are still on-going. Widely used by a variety of community activities and social events there is always something going on !

ACCESS THROUGH PRIORY HALL CAR PARK: Temporary closures.
We are undertaking essential work to the drain covers in Priory Hall Car Park - Monday 25th May - Friday 29th May

The seating and covers for three drain covers are being replaced using rapid cement, to cut down disruption time. This means that the gate to/from the Churchyard will be closed Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th, with a no entry sign. It will re-open on Wednesday 27th onwards for pedestrian access.

In more detail the plans are as follows:

Monday 25th May - Bookings cancelled and car park closed to vehicles and pedestrians until 6.00pm, to allow pedestrian access only for booking which begins at 6.30pm

Tuesday 26th May - Bookings cancelled and car park closed to vehicles and pedestrians until 4.45pm, to allow pedestrian access only for booking which begins at 5.15pm

Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th and Friday 29th May - Hall open for all bookings but pedestrian access only - no vehicles on site.

Saturday 30th May - Hall open for Saturday booking - pedestrian and vehicle access allowed.

We had a great session at Clickers today helping people with queries on WhatsApp, the NHS app, how to send photos and how to use QR codes, all accompanied by delicious home-made made cakes, teas and coffees.

Do you have an elderly relative, neighbour or friend who would benefit from some friendly support to better use their phone, tablet or laptop? Then let them know about Clickers which runs every Thursday between 10.30 and 11.30 at Priory Hall. Newcomers welcome!

This Saturday, come and enjoy coffee, home-made cake and light lunches at the Priory Hall pop up cafe. There will be plenty to see with stalls selling a whole range of handmade crafts including artist prints, willow work, jewellery and more.
