As we reflect on 2025, it’s a moment to look back on a year of hard work, resilience and celebration at The Laskett.

James shares highlights from a ‘hot Laskett summer’ and the joy of marking Sir Roy Strong’s 90th birthday. He also reflects on the vital role played by volunteers, alongside stories from across Perennial’s gardens and a message of thanks to everyone who has supported the charity.

We’re delighted to share that The Laskett Garden will become an RHS Partner Garden in 2026 🌿

From next year, RHS - Royal Horticultural Society members can visit for free on Wednesdays during our open season (just bring your membership card).

This week we’ve been preparing for our December open weekend by planting up some winter pots.

A mix of hellebores, ferns, skimmia, heathers, snowdrops and bright cornus stems brings structure and subtle winter interest, catching the low light beautifully against the brickwork.
