Welcome!

Hello! Welcome to our page. We are, as the name suggests, a local community playgroup. We have been running for about 16 years.

My name is Heather and I currently live in Rothley. I help to run this wonderful playgroup with two other amazing ladies, Jo and Hollie. We are all mothers and understand the need for company, support, advice and laughter and of course a safe, clean space for our children to play in.

I remember bringing my eldest 10 years ago when she was just a baby. It has always been a friendy and welcoming group. I have, over the years, brought all of my brood, my youngest two are still coming. The toys have changed but the atmosphere hasn't.

The playgroup runs in the church hall, with a large variety of toys to play with. Many toys have been replaced and renewed over the last couple of years. We offer an art/colouring table and dedicated art/craft sessions. Snacks are provided for the children and tea and coffee for the parents. At the end of the session there is story time and singing.
