has successfully completed the RAF Air Cadets commissioning process and is now an Acting Pilot Officer!

Congratulations to Sgt Baxter for being awarded his Method Of Instruction Lanyard.

Cadets who wish to join the instructional team with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets must undertake a training course and then apply what they have learned to conduct three lessons, including a final assessed lesson.

Congratulations to Cpl Watson who over the Easter Period achieved her Bronze Leadership Award.

Further congratulations go to Cpl Moore who has achieved his Silver Leadership Award.

Cadets have to learn through classes how to be an effective leader, studying styles of leadership, tools and processes to achieve tasks. They then complete a written exam and practical assessment.

Both cadets scored very well and achieved their next award. Keep up the excellent work.
